Our journey began with a passion for providing salon-quality products that could be used at home, and over this time, 1000HOUR has grown to become a staple in countless routines.

A cult beauty favourite passed from mother to daughter, friend to friend. Known for value, time-saving and trusted results.

Why is the brand called 1000HOUR?

Our name reflects our original product heritage – the 6-week (1008-hour) lifespan of a lash. It represents the duration our Lash & Brow Dye (our OG 1000HOUR product) lasts with each use, which has now become synonymous with quality and long-lasting results.

Are 1000HOUR products suitable for all?

Yes! 1000HOUR products are designed to help everyone enhance their natural beauty. Whether you’re new to beauty routines or an experienced user, our products are simple to use and provide professional-quality results.

Are 1000HOUR products sustainable?

1000HOUR is dedicated to minimising our environmental impact. We are part of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO) who are leading the development of a circular economy for packaging in Australia. As a part of this organisation, we continue to continuously improve the sustainability of our packaging where practical. In 2024 were a finalist in the APCO Reporting Excellence category.

Products and Ingredients

Has the packaging design changed recently?

Yes, thanks for noticing! We’ve recently undergone a brand refresh, which includes an updated design for logo and some of our best-sellers. Rest assured, the formula inside remains the same high quality you know and love.

What ingredients do you use?

The ingredients vary by product. Each product's packaging and product page contains detailed information about the ingredients used. If you have specific concerns, feel free to contact our customer support for more information.

Are your products tested on animals?

No, our products are tested on beauties, not animals. We are committed to cruelty-free practices.

How long do the Lash & Brow products last?

Our Lash & Brow Dye and Tint Kits offer results that last up to 6 weeks. Our other products are formulated for short-term use, like our brow pencils for example. For more detailed product-specific information, please refer to the product page or instructions.

What if I have sensitive skin?

Everyone's skin is different. We always recommend performing a patch test before use to ensure compatibility with your skin. This should be done 48-hours before use when using the Lash & Brow Dye or Tint Kit.

Where can I buy 1000HOUR products?

You can purchase 1000HOUR products directly from our website or through our selected retail partners. You can find a list of our stockists here. Note: not all stores will carry all product lines and shades.

What is the difference between the Lash & Brow Dye and Tint Kits?

The Lash & Brow Dye Kit is a peroxide-based product that permanently dyes the lash and brow hairs, much like a hair dye. It is also ideal for covering greys.

The Lash & Brow Tint Kit is a non-peroxide based formula making it more ideal for sensitive skin types. The Tint stains the skin underneath the brow area and lightly tints the lash and brow hairs. It has a henna-like result.

I used to mix the formula but now there are two tubes? Is the formula different?

We have two formulas available. Our original Lash & Brow Dye Kit contains a colour cream and peroxide developer that are mixed together and then applied.

Our Lash & Brow Tint Kit contains a colour gel tube and a developer gel tube. These are applied separately. They should NEVER be mixed together.

Help I'm scared my brows will be too dark?

If this is your first time dying or tinting your brows, we recommend the following:

Lash & Brow Dye Kit leave on for between 3-5 minutes. If the colour is not deep enough, you can increase the time on your next application.

Lash & Brow Tint Kit apply the developer gel immediately after wiping off the colour gel. The more time you leave between these steps, the deeper the colour will be.

What are shipping costs for Australia?

We offer FREE standard shipping on orders over $49 within Australia. For orders under $49, a $9.90 shipping fee applies.

Do you ship to New Zealand?

Yes, we ship to New Zealand! For orders under $100, the shipping cost is $18.00. We offer FREE shipping on orders over $100.

Due to NZ regulatory requirements, we are unable to ship the 1000HOUR Lash & Brow Dye Kit to New Zealand. Sorry!

How long does it take to receive my order?

We aim to send your order within 5-7 business days of purchase within Australia. For international orders, shipping times may vary depending on logistics and current restrictions.

Do you ship internationally?

We are not shipping consumer orders internationally. However, you can purchase both our Original Formula 1000Hour Lash & Brow Dye + Plant Based Formula 100Hour Lash & Brow Dye from a USA Distributor, Pretty Woman, based in New York.

What if there’s a delay in my order?

If there are unforeseen supply issues or unexpected demand resulting in a delay, we will contact you immediately. If you haven't received your order, or heard from us regarding delays, we encourage you to let us know so we can help you.

Returns and Refunds

What is your returns policy?

If you've mistakenly purchased the wrong product, we will gladly offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided the product is unopened. Please contact our customer service team for details on how to return the product.

How do I return a product?

To return a product, please contact our customer service team for instructions. The customer is responsible for shipping charges on returned goods unless it was an error on our part.

Can I exchange a product?

We do not offer product exchanges. Instead, we provide a refund for approved returns, after which you can place a new order.
